Huge swathes of land in 11 districts across Chattogram Division and Sylhet Division are underwater. Approximately 4.5 million people are affected. The flood-affected districts – Feni, Noakhali, Khagrachari, Cumilla, Brahmanbaria, Chattogram, Moulvibazar, Habiganj, Sylhet, Lakshmipur and Cox’s Bazar – urgently need emergency relief.
